3M has taken this technology that made the Cubitron II fiber discs so successful and have applied it to their new line of bonded products. 3M uses a proprietary technology to create their precision shaped grain that goes into this new line of Cubitron II products. The precision shaped grains allow of less pressure to be applied by the operator while at the same time they cut faster and remain sharper longer which helps to increase productivity and throughput.
