Eliminates Waste Generated Hazards

SURFASOLVE™ technology can virtually eliminate hazardous waste generation produced during composite resin cleaning operations when used properly. SURFASOLVE™ never stops working in the liquid form and therefore will not need to be disposed of, unlike conventional solvents such as acetones. Polymers being cleaned in SURFASOLVE™ will fall out and can be fully recovered as a solid material later on.

Not creating hazardous waste greatly reduces costs and the regulatory burdens that can be very costly if not followed correctly. Hazardous waste has to be stored and kept until picked up for proper disposal, greatly increasing the risk of an explosion resulting in fire. There are no flammability or combustible issues to deal with when using SURFASOLVE™ technology.

SURFASOLVE™ flashes above 210˚ F which is well above the 140˚ F threshold to be considered  RCRA waste by definition of flammability.  There are no HAP's (Hazardous Air Pollutants) in any SURFASOLVE™ formulas and all of the ingredients are considered fully biodegradable.

Disposal Considerations

It is highly recommended to profile any waste material collected from SURFASOLVE™ containers or work stations to consider  it legal status as a waste. In most cases after profiling  the waste material one time will be considered sufficient so long as the process does not change. Once this waste is profiled it will most likely fall into a solid waste category.

Please be careful to never throw any material down the drain, on the ground or in a dumpster. Make sure all wastes are handled according to all applicable federal, state and local laws
