SurfaSolve
Tool Cleaner is used to clean rollers, hands
and tools during lamination. SurfaSolve Tool
Cleaner will completely replace acetone and
other solvents. It never stops working in the
liquid form
and is easily recycled using our
work and flock stations. When used correctly
SurfaSolve can eliminate hazardous waste
generation and increase employee safety. SurfaSolve is 100% biodegradable, contains no
HAPS, is non-flammable, non-combustible and
non-DOT regulated SurfaSolve was designed
to polymerize with the resin and acts as a
plasticizer in it. SurfaSolve Tool Cleaner is
compatible in the curing of the resin to prevent
potential uncured laminates and blisters in gel
coat if employees get small amount in the
laminate. |

How The Material Is Used: |
|
SurfaSolve Tool
Cleaner must be used with our workstations to
utilize its maximum efficiency. SurfaSolve can
also be used in small containers and then
brought back to the workstation or more
preferably the floc station after temporary use.
The reason SurfaSolve must be used in
conjunction with our workstations is to provide
a large volume of material that allows the resin
to settle out without consuming the SurfaSolve
itself and then gelling. Remember the SurfaSolve
will act as a plasticizer and therefore cure
with the resin if there is no sufficient volume
of SurfaSolve present.
Because the resin is denser than the
SurfaSolve and falls, roller heads touching the
bottom of a small container will lock up.
Workstations have been designed with a grid
plate eight inches from the bottom to keep the
rollers off the bottom were the resin falls and
gels. There are brushes on the grid plate to
help remove stubborn materials from tools and
gloves. |
